My clients come to see me for different reasons when they want to sell their current Cary, Raleigh, Durham and surrounding areas property. Therefore, my first step as a seller’s agent is to understand your goals and motivation to sell. From there, I can create a plan that takes your home from for sale to sold

I also have a network of professionals to help get your home looking it’s best. From professional stagers to real estate photographers and videographers, your home will stand out among others in the market.

Start packing

Decluttering before you list your home is KEY. Not only will it make your home appear larger, but reducing clutter will also help potential buyers envision themselves living there!

Put items you don’t need in boxes, take out furniture that might be too big for a room and look into storing them in either your garage or a storage unit. Even your closets should present empty to show buyers how much storage space your home can provide.

Exterior maintenance

A home’s exterior is often the first thing a potential buyer will see, even if they are driving by, so it needs to make a great first impression. What does your exterior say about your home?

Spend some time looking at the exterior of your home with a critical eye. Invest a little bit of time and money into repairing, cleaning, painting, or sprucing up your shingles, fence, mailbox, grass, driveway, sidewalk, bushes, and front door. You’d be surprised how much more money a neat appearance and fresh coat of paint on your front door can get you for your home.

Interior maintenance

You want potential buyers to be able to visualize themselves living in your home. Besides reducing clutter and personal items (i.e., family pictures), one of the most inexpensive things you can do to help sell your home is a fresh coat of paint. Paint any trim or rooms that look dark, nicked up, or dingy.

Kitchens are an essential feature of a home. Even if your kitchen screams 1970s, you don’t need a complete renovation. Minor updates can make a significant impact. Updating the lighting, countertops, hardware, and paint can give your kitchen new life!

Your bathrooms are the second most important rooms in your house. Again, you don’t need, to spend a lot of money. Re-grouting and a new shower curtain help make it look cleaner and fresh.
